About the instructor
Scott Kupiec
Teacher, tutor, curriculum writer, and consultant for first-year teachers. Most of what I know about why students struggle with physics I learned from sitting with one student at a time and watching where it goes wrong.

Years tutoring
In person and online. I've worked for several tutoring companies over the years and now teach students directly.
Physics is hard for a lot of reasons, but the main one is that every unit builds on the one before it. Within the first thirty minutes with a student I can usually find where the trouble actually started, and build a plan to get them back to where their class is now.
Students have different strengths and weaknesses when it comes to a difficult subject. I can explain the same concept several different ways, and I'll keep going until one of them lands.
I really appreciated how much material I was able to learn and understand in depth in just an hour. Mr. Kupiec taught me how and why laws of physics work in the real world which allowed me to appreciate and love learning the class material.
